I live in Phoenix Arizona and have two ponds, one in my front yard and one in back, both get partial shade. They both have lilys and fish and a good filter, I use the bio-additive to try and control the front pond that has un-controled string algae. The water is clear, but sting algae everywhere. I just can't seem to get a handle on what to do. My back pond is crystal clear and no algae. Someone suggested an ultra-viloet filter for the front pond. Will that kill all the string algae? If so I'll buy one tomorrow, anyone else have any ideas?
