Posted by: safemode at Mon May 15 21:24:39 2006 [ Report Abuse ] [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by safemode ] My filter pads in my Hozelock bioforce 2000uvc (new model) have been in use for about 12 months and are starting to become increasingly impossible to clean completely with the water pressure i have available to me. I'm not too keen on replacing them with 40 dollar pad replacements every year on top of the high cost of the uvc bulb. I'm wondering if anyone has any experience replacing the pads function with something else that is more durable and performs equally or better than the pads for removing debris.
