Hi,

Can anyone help me? I have a raised pond (rectangle built with bricks) which is approximately 2000 litters. It’s been fine for a while but recently the filter has started to become full every single day.

I don’t think I am over-feeding the fish as I am feeding them very little once a day – there are approximately 15 fish in the pond. Approximately half the pond has Lilly pads on it for appropriate shading (as I hear this is important).

The filter in place is an 8W Fishmate UV combined filter. It is recommended for ponds up to 3000 litters so it should be substantial enough.

Does anyone have any ideas why the filter might be getting so dirty so quickly?

Thanks,

Brian
