I found a baby oppossum about six months ago. He has been the best pet. At first I kept him in a medium sized pet carrier in my bedroom. Later, I left the carrier open and let him roam around my room. He would always go to the bathroom in the carrier. I then removed the carrier and replaced it with a litter box. He now lives freely in my bedroom and usually uses the litter box. He sleeps on my bed all day and moves around, eats, and uses the box at night. Another thing you can do is to let him live in a room and see where he goes to the bathroom, it will usually be in the same place. After you see where it is put a litter box in that place. I hope this helped. Here are some pics of Dewey.
