Ringtail cats are very neat little animals. They're the smallest of the raccoon family and if hand raised can make wonderful easy going pets. I used to own a trio of them but none of them were tame. Although they weren't tame they were still very neat, they were either parent raised or wild caught I'm not sure which because I got them when they were already fully grown and didn't have much history on them. After a while they got where they didn't mind me being in their cage with them and they'd come up to me and take food out of my hand and let me pet them a little bit. But they'd also bite my feet if I tried to move too fast while I was in their enclosure and growl and make aweful noises at me if they got scared lol. I would LOVE to get a tame ringtail kit, if you know someone that has some I would love their information. You can reach me at kiki_is_me420@yahoo.com hope that helped a little bit and if you'd like more indpeth infomration on them feel free to e-mail me!
