>>so i work at a local petstore and someone brought in a little hedgehog!so me being all about crazy animal oddities took it home!the previous owners said she was about 5 months but shes awfully big to be 5 months(but yet ive never owned one so i wouldnt know)they say she doesnt bite and so far has not.but when i pick her up all she does is curl up and hiss.if i blow on her face she pokes her little head out and tries to roll over and as soon as she does shes curled right back up.i know i need to be patiant but is there anything i could do to help her acclimate?if i put her on the floor she uncurls and just stands there.

Hedgies are very shy, and since you haven't had her long, she needs time to adjust to you and her new surroundings.

Have you taken her to the vet since bringing her home?

A vet visit would be nice, just to make sure everything is running smoothly.

What type of diet do you have her one?

Stay in touch and keep all us critter folks in the loop on her progress.
