Hi there,

Our young Kinkajou, around 4-5 months, seems a little frantic biting finger ends sometimes. She likes to take them quite deep into her mouth and she bites pretty gently at first but it gets a bit harder as time goes on. She will back off when she knows she's bitten too hard, but she seems to seek that edge; where you have to tell her "enough". ( A bit like a human child i suppose.)

It seems quite intense for her and we wondered if i might be to do with suckling and being away from her Mum too early.
Anyone got any suggestions why she might be doing this? She's generally very playful and happy, easy going and relaxed, so we don't think it's too serious.

Thanks, Paul and Sarah.
Letty Loo, Raccoon Lady or one year.
and JuJu (obviously!), the sweetest thing ever to have drawn breath!
