Over the past two weeks a little white floppy ear bunny has been showing up in our back yard. I suspect someone let it go in the woods behind our house and somehow it decided my yard was a safe place. It likes to eat the naturally occuring chives that are in the yard. We've been thinking about catching and keeping it as we feel it will stand a better chance for survival under supervised care than it would running the woods and swamp behind us. I plan to take it to a vet for a wash up and flea dip and tick removal. Are there any shots it might need since it was exposed to the wild for an undefined period of time? It acts very dometicated (feeds from hand, let's you pet it without running away..etc)

Any advice is appreciated. Can you just wash a bunny like you do a dog? If so I can probably avoid an expensive vet trip.

Thanks,
Russ
