my stepdad works for a tree company, and the other day he cut down a tree with a squirrel nest. there was only one baby, so he brought it home. i've taken in a squirrel before but he was a few weeks older, this little guy hasnt opened his eyes yet. i got him kitten formula right away. it took him a little while but we eventually got feeding down along with pooping and such. everything's been fine for the past two days. i've been feeding him every 4 hours, exactly. ANYWHO today i came home from a walk and he'd had some diarrhea. he's had it for about 3 hours, and is a tiny bit dehydrated. i've been using several websites as a guide and one says that in case of diarrhea, to weaken the formula. so i watered it down, but he'd just fed a little while ago so he wasnt too thrilled to have me wake him up to feed him when he wasnt too hungry lol but i was also told to use Pedialyte if he's dehydrated i dont have a car, or money till later tonight. and i read that there are ways to make it at home but i found too many diff kinds to feel safe doing this on my own.
IF ANYONE has any advice, please share it with me. ill be checking this every half hour or so, but a faster way would be to use AIM my screen name is "SuomiBlues"
PLEASE any advice is welcome
