Okay so in my area we find rabbits hopping all over and just leave them alone with no issues, we find at least 3 nests each summer. We always just leave them be.

Sadly yesterday we found 2 baby rabbits stuck in a basement window that drops down very deep and would be impossible to get out of. They were clearly there for a while, but we put them a few feet away from the drain/window and let it be. Today I went to the basement to find to my surprise that both rabbits had jumped down back into the storm drain and were once again stuck.

I checked to see if they were dehydrated as they were both rather limp and out of it, although shockingly unharmed considering the drop. The skin didn't retract at all, and they just seemed dazed. I took them into the garage and offered an assortment of leafy greens which they had no interest in. Finally I put a bit of ensure in a small syringe and had some luck getting them to drink a bit of it.

They're about 4-5 inches long I would say, the white patch on their heads is very small, and the fur on their back is mainly silky fur instead of the fluff other babies I've seen have but they refuse any food besides the ensure that our vet recommended.

Tomorrow I plan on picking up some goats milk for them, but I was wondering if that was the correct plan of action, and how soon I can get these little guys eating actual food and back outside where they belong. After feeding both seem much more awake and vibrant so I think they're doing okay now. I have them in a box with timothy hay and an assortment of greens in a warm spot in the garage. Any tips or advice? I also have 6 dogs I should add that I would rather not dump them outside around, and a neighbors terrior that would love to make them a snack.
