Hello.
Here's some FAQs I found on reverse osmosis water for you. I actually did research this topic when I first started with my tanks, but I decided for me that Spring water was the way I wanted to go.
Basically you can do what I did, just add the water without any additives to remove things from the water (like you would have to for tap water). You will still have to go through the cycling process (a 4-6 week process) no matter what kind of water you use.
