I have a 20-gallon tank with five large Buenos Aires tetras in it, and algae is starting to become a problem. Not too long ago, I got a common pleco to help keep things tidy. Things were going seemingly well until I looked in my tank this morning and saw what was left of my pleco resting the gravel at the front of my tank. This, after assurances from the LFS expert who said the pleco's barbs would help it defend itself from the BAs. Whoops.

Now, my BAs are semi-aggressive and seemingly very territorial (they have killed off a couple of cichlids). Is there an algae eater that I can put in my tank that would survive these guys, or am I reduced to using Algaefix to keep things tidy?
