I have a 4 week old female. I know that she is still too young and small to breed, but I want to know when is the optimum time to breed a virgin. I have read that if they aren't bred until they are older, they can have trouble conceiving or giving birth. So what is the best time for a first breeding?
She is a plain grey from a grey but yellow tailed female and a mostly orange male. I plan on breeding her to a yellow male with black spots all over him (think cheetah). I doubt their offspring (generation 1) will be anything special but the second generation should be awesome. Also I have a red, orange, blue, and yellow colored male that I am going to be using somewhere down the line.
I haven't done much researching on genetics although that is my next area of study now that I have all the care part down.

thanks
