I got two swordfishes about a month ago. I did not know anything about fishes then, just wanted to have some. So as i started watching my fishes, I got more and more excited everyday and learned that male swordtails have a "genitalia" while females dont. Im pretty sure both my fishes are males...except one looks very very pregnant. I've seen the two fishes do the mating "jig" but I really don't know how my male can be pregnant - he still has his genitalia so i dont think he changed sex yet? Is it possible that its a male pregnant swordtail?

I really hope he is but I dont know if Im fooling myself or if I should separate him so he can give birth. I am pretty sure its still a he.

i know i sound so stupid. please help.
