ok, so i've got these two bettas, manny (who's still doing very well) and spunk (formerly c-thu) who's also doing well. they're both in one gallon bowls and now i'm wanting to get a tank and divide it. nothing too large, probably a 5 or 10 gallon tank... my questions are... how do i go about dividing this tank so the water flows freely (don't want to use a non-porous divider), and also, will i absolutely have to go through this nitrogen cycle? if i set up the tank and all the parameters are correct, shouldn't i be able to add them as long as i keep checking the water?
