I have 3 Wagtail platies in my tank. One is female (anal fin) and definitely pregnant. Another is a typical male that is shadowing the pregnant female part of the time. The rest of the time he is shadowing what appears to be another male as it has what looks like a distinct gonopodium. Not only is this second male? being followed by an amorous male but it seems to be getting larger in it's girth over the last couple of weeks. Someone else looked at it and declared it a male but it is getting quite rotund. What could be going on here?
