I got a Clown Triggerfish last week, He is currently in a tank with three blue damsels(which I thought he would eat by now) starfish, a goby but he stays under rocks and crabs. I also have a large horseshoe crab. For the past week I have been feeding him frozen squid, brime shrimp. Just today he ate the eyes of my horseshoe crab, I know that they are aggressive fish but I didnt know they would do that. i heard if you put things that are bigger then them they wouldnt eat them. I love the clown triggerfish so I just want to know what can you put in the tank with them? any tank cleaners? also how often to feed them, I normally cut a cube in half twice a day so hes getting one whole cube a day, I dont know if this is to much or to little, but hes slow so it doesnt seem like he catches all the food and I dont want overfed either...also just out of curosity will the horseshoe crab die now? He is still getting around without his eyes but when hes on his back he doesnt try as hard to get back over anymore but the triggerfish doesnt seem to be bothering him except still trying to eat eyes that arent there. Any help I would appreciate, im new to triggerfish. Thanks!
