Hello, I have had a 70L freshwater tropical aquarium for over 5 years now and, I was just wondering If I can change my regular fluorescent light for a new blue fluorescent light. I just want to change my aquarium, its only for decorative purposses!

Questions:

- I only see Salt water Aquariums with blue lighting... does it harm freshwater organisms in any way? Or is regular lighting just better for freshwater aquariums?

- Do these blue lights use more electricity?

Infofmation:
- I just have plastic plants (no real plants), so the blue light as I mentioned before, is only for decorative purposses!

Any useful tip will be much appreciated!
Thanks!
