I would still give them their usual pellets and/or seed mix just with plenty of soft foods added in. Many birds won't do as well if you completely switch to softer foods but will do great with the soft foods added in.



Also since they are spending all their time in the nest box I wouldn't move the cage instead just covering the one sice if you are afraid that being near them is causing too much stress.
