You are definitely right in that it is usually the drafts or winds that cause respiratory problems instead of temperature alone. Our outside cages are in a fenced in area with a high fence where the wind is at least mostly blocked so it didn't even cross my mind to mention this besides the fact they are in when it is cooler.
