well I moved #5,now called Baby, to the new nest along with the four new eggs. Baby took this as a sign that it was time to leave the box for good.=D She looks just like her momma Sea, and is eating the seeds and spinach along with the others.

However, someone didn't like the 4 eggs in the new box, because I found all 4 cracked on the bottom of the cage. I don't know who did it, but I decided that maybe it was a good thing, and removed the box altogether. And funny thing, the birds are all getting along and being much quieter with no nest box.=D

Powder (baby#1) has moved to his new home, just a few houses away from us. Since there are no more nest boxes, and 7 fit just perfect in this big cage, I'll just be keeping the rest Unless someone I know really wants one, I have no desire to 'get rid' of any of my precious babies..lol

If I do decide to provide a box in the spring, I'll make sure I can move the breeding pair to their own cage, since 5 extra heads poking the new babies might be annoying.

And so, we love our big little flock
