Im raising a baby spotted turtle dove i recently found in my back yard after some strong wind. I tried to se if the parents would take it back but they didn't. I've got him eating and over the past week he's been growing well. Seems to be getting quite used to me and my family and i just wanted some advice on keeping this breed of dove as a pet. I'm in Australia and i've found some info on them, seems they were introduced here from south east asia and are seen as a pest but i think they're nice birds but wanted to know if it was possible to keep as a pet or if it should be released. Any advice would be great!
Thanks!!
