Several years ago I adopted a mated pair of ring-necked doves. I knew absolutly nothing about their history. So I can not give details like age or original care, but I can tell you I had them 4 years and regularly vetted. Last week one of them mysteriously passed away (even had a necropsy done and no clues as to why). Now the other one is so depressed she has stopped eating/drinking and preening. I am not sure what to do for her. She has already lost weight and I fear she may starve herself. I have looked around and can find any "single" ring-necked doves in my area. Does anyone have any ideas as to how to help her out.
