You suggested making sure it's not sunburn. How do I go about preventing it? Do they make anything like horse spray with SPF?
Getting the vet out here is going to be VERY difficult... my dad is hellbent on avoiding them. He pretty much thinks they're all worthless and will simply charge us $200 to tell us either what we already know, or that he doesn't know. *sigh*
