That's only like $10 a horse. I'm thinking of bidding. Is that a good price? I usually see them in the store for $15 or so a piece, or on ebay for like $30 a piece!!! Actually I don't know if I'll bid... I dunno if I've got $200 to spend on Breyers... Just thought I'd share this with anyone who collects more than I do!
This reminds me, did anyone go to the Equine Extravaganza in Richmond, VA two weekends ago? The son of the guy who made the very first Breyer was actually there, autographing Breyers. Anyway, I was wondering if anyone who went was particularly impressed with Richard Shrake or John Lyons? I'm beginning to think these two are just old windbags. I also wasn't impressed with the way Mr. Lyons yanked on the horse's bridle so hard that it pulled the browband into the horse's eye and the bit completely up on the side of his cheek, then snapped at someone for pointing out saying "You people always focus on the stupid little things!" Hmph. I bought a saddle breast plate bridle there for $300 for the whole set. It's made by Buffalo Saddlery. After talking to a local tack pro around here, I'm beginning to question my purchase. Is Buffalo Saddlery very reputable?
