Hi! My gelding was just diagnosed as having Scirrhous Cord via ultrasound. I can't find much info on this condition. The vet that diagnosed him did not give the odds of surgery success. Are you familiar with this condition, and, if so, is the surgery usually successful?Or can you just drain the fluids and put him on antibiotics with success? Can it mimic Squamous Cell Carcinoma?Any info you have would be great.
