According to a friend of ours who deals in horses, tricolor paints are much harder to come by than two tones. Somehow, my only 3 horses are all tricolors! I was wondering if tricolor paints' markings are more desireable and/or valuable than two tones? I'm sure a lot of value is determined by the horse's abilities, but would you say two 5 year old horse's of the same breed, height, temperament, and trianing would have differing values if one was a plain brown and white and the other was a brown and white tricolor with black points and black hair? All of mine are brown and white, except Pistol who has black points on some of the endings of his brown like around the legs, but not a single one has a brown hair in his or her mane and tail. They're all black and white as far as the hair goes!
It's just fun to know trivia like this. Please someone get back to me!
