colorful morgan horses(opinions on the old highwhite rule)

Hey, I recently purchased my first horse, and it happens to be a buckskin morgan. Ive already been scorned by a couple gurls in the morgan horse circle for owning a morgan that is not a black or bay. One gurl even said, "I hope you dont breed her with a QUALITY morgan."

Any thoughts on the topic? I dont see how breeding colorful morgans is any different then breeding sporty, saddlebred type morgans. These "park" morgans look nothing like Figure. I dont get this reasoning at all.
