Hello all,

I am new to this horse forum and looking for any suggestions about new ownership and creating a space for a Mini Horse. I am in the process of adopting a 6 year old Mini Horse named Suzy. I am new to horses and looking to build an enclosed shelter and fenced pasture for her.

I have ordered a series of books for Mini Horse care, as well as joined the Association for Mini Horses, however, I am anxious to get as much information as possible right away.

Can anyone suggest a website or their own personal experience of what size stall I should be building for my enclosed shelter for her? Also, I own a house with acreage, and need to determine the size fenced pasture for her. I have learned that two pastures, one for exercising and one for eating is a good idea. Any suggestions on the size?
