Hi Elcheal-

Well, it depends on the group There are various groups of 4-hers and some of them learn about various farm animals, some do arts and craft things, etc.

I was never in 4-H unfortunately, but I've seen and read some great things about it. If you're in one of the animal groups, a common thing is for the members to raise the animal of choice for the group and then show it at a local fair or show at the end of the season. I know up here there are 4-H groups that do animals as simple as rabbits and guinea pigs and then as big as sheep, cattle and horses!

Let us know how your first meeting goes, I suspect you'll learn a whole lot more there and can tell us about it all
