Hi ,
My name is amy , I have a few questions About Nigerian Dwarf Goats or i guess goats in general .
I just got a goat little less then 2 weeks ago she is a Nigerain dwarf goat we think .we bought her for my filly who will be coming about the 24th of june . any way she is rather skinny with exception of her stomach which is rather large I mean we can see her hip bones and feel her ribs and back bone but her stomach is just huge . we were told she was lees then a year could she be pregnant ? she was in a feild with males and was getting rather picked on we were told. if so about how long is the gestation of a goat ? and about how many young do they have ?
Also we went to the mill and they were out of most goat feed with exception of purina goat chow is this good food ? and about how much feed should we give her ? we have a supplie of fresh hay available at all times .
Another thing is she has this ear tag thing on is their any way we can get it off ? It really weighs her ear down , and looks like it makes her uncomfortable .
I really appricate your help any other suggestions are welcome thank you very much

Amy and Rob FIlar
