Congrats on your new brood that is going to be hatching soon. I love Pekin ducks, they have such a wonderful personality. It's good that you will have more than one, because they like to be in a group.
Temps: First Week- 90-95 degrees Second Week- 80-85 degrees Third to about Six Weeks- 75 degrees
They must be kept dry until about six weeks...this can be hard as they like to swim...lolol.
They don't need to learn to eat...so feed them once in the brooder. For the first week feed them wet duck or chick starter, three to four times daily.
Any other questions..let me know, and please post pics of the new babies!! >>I am going to be a new mommy in 2 wks to 3 pekin ducklings. They will be about 1 wk old . Any tips ??? I am so excited !! ----- PHFlea PHFlea@pethobbyist.com
