Hobo Spider

The Hobo Spider is a non-native species that can be found near residential areas in the Pacific Northwest.

Because it is classified as a spider of medical concern, people in the area tend to be afraid of all spiders.

Here's a picture and further information to help with identification, and hopefully tamp down a bit of unnecessary spider phobia.
