Hi. I was down south in Long Beach, MS for about 9 months. When I was down there, I saw some weird... ant-like insects on a few of my stepmom's trees. I have never seen anything like them before, and I've been trying to find out what they could be. I do not know if they are native to the area, or were brought in from Katrina.

The babies look to be social in some way (in the pic below), while the adults looked like they were solitary and of course, predatory. As I've seen a few of the adults munching on some flies that they caught. If anyone could tell me what they are... it'd be much appreciated. It's been bugging me trying to find out what they could be for the past year or so.
