In case you're still wondering, you have what are commonly called "house hoppers" or "lawn shrimp". They are amphipods, terrestrial crustaceans. They normally live in moist soil under ivy or leaf litter, and sometimes water in the form of heavy rains or even over-watering will drive them out, where they end up stranding themselves where it's too dry, like inside a house.
