Garden Centipede Subspecies?

Okay, a year ago when I was searching for a new pet garden centipede in my backyard, I found a completely black one. Other than it's colour it looked like a garden centipede except it had no antennae. I had him for a few weeks and fed him ants. he made his own burrow and was feeding actively. I also recently found a few more, after I moved to a different house, while just looking through leaf litter and looking for bugs. I would really like to know what this is. If it helps at all I live in Vancouver, BC. Thanks in advance!
