However, their venom can still cause problems w/ humans. if you do not want to kill her then just keep it in a jar. They make easy captives. Brown widows are considered a big nuisance. Once restricted to FL they are now found across the southern states to CA. It has been suggested that brown widows are pushing out black widows in areas where they have been introduced.
