I have an S. polymorpha that i got in september at NARBC. it's been doing well since i got it. very active, eating, etc. for a week i was out of the country and before i left i gave it 2 crickets and left 1 side of the tank damp with water. i use eco-earth for substrate. i came back last thursday and i see it's in a corner which i thought was normal. the next day i look at it again and it's in the same corner which i thought was odd then so i touched it which these metal tongs i have and it barely moved. just the head and a couple of the legs. the only thing i could think of is it's dehydrated so i poured water all around it and later on i saw it stuck its face inside the substrate so im guessing it was drinnking. since then it hasnt moved really it got more movement in a couple of other legs and its antennae and head move more but other than that it's not very mobile. i still give it water and it seems to always keep its head under the substrate. not sure if it's molting or just dying from possible dehydration. any ideas?
