Try getting a mini under tank heater from Zoo Med. As you heat up the pede's enclosure, it's metabolism will speed up which means move movement and food intake. Lastly, try putting a big superworm which has been sliced down the middle in front of the pede. If he doesn't eat, I don't know what to tell you.
