Ruby -- Thanks. I haven't seen the food around here. I'll check again next time I go to PetSmart. I feed them Nutro Natural Choice Senior Dry with a little Science Diet Hairball Senior Dry mixed in. Stanley has a very sensitive stomach and this seems to be the best mix I've found so far. He's doing well on it. Pookey can eat anything. I have to be careful with Stanley. If I see it, I'll pick up a small bag and give it a try. Do they make it for Seniors (Senior Formula)? I keep an eye on Phosphorous, Magnesium, and Protein levels as they age... They'll be 12 yrs old in August. >>----- >>Tammy >>Stanley and Pookey
Tammy, I haven't seen the cat food in Seniors, just Cat Adult and Cat Lite. However that doesn't mean that they don't have it. I've heard that they have a canned Chicken Soup cat food too but my pet store doesn't carry that either. Since the cats love the dry so much, I'm sure that they'd love the canned too.
Wow, Stanley and Pookey are going to be 12 yrs old???? They must lead a very healthy life. Simba is my oldest and he's going to be 6 in April. Samantha will be 5 this year, and Katrina and KatyKatt both will be 4 this year. Unfortunately, Katy is my fattest cat because all she ever does is eat and sleep. She could be a model for the Kliban Cat cartoons...if you're familiar with those. They're big, fat gray tabby cat cartoons. I love Kliban Cats and am posting the web address here for you if you'd like to see them! Anyway you'll usually find her curled up in the 'meat loaf' pose. Kliban Cat Calendars
