If you are wanting an all natural diet, have you considered RAW? It's not as convenient as store bought food, and takes some study to understand and should not be done without doing research first, but from what I've heard and read about it, it's highly beneficial for the animal. It's also not the cheapest way to go unless you can find a good source for the meat.
Now, there are also ways you can make your own food that's natural, before Myrtle got pregnant, I was in the process of switching her to RAW and I had her on a diet of cooked rice (1/2 cup) one can of mackeral, and 1/4 can of beans. I would also add other things to the food at different times, such as yogurt or raw leafy vegetables, and this was only fed once a day to suppliment the dry food. The mixture would last a week. I chose those ingredients after analyzing several bags of catfood and reading everything I could on feline nutritional requirements, and cat's on these diets often need a dietary suppliment to give them minerals they need that aren't found in people food.
But as with RAW, feeding your cat natural requires study and a good understanding of what you're doing to make sure that your animal is getting all of the nutrients it needs, and nothing that it shouldn't have.

I'm not reccomending either of those choices, I feed my kitties wet/dry food from the store, but those are a couple more options - if you didn't already know about them

As far as natural pet foods go, I've heard Jaime reccommend Nutro Natural Choice. Maybe she can tell you something about that.

Congradulations on your new kitty!
Good luck!

Destany
