Destany is correct! The BEST food for a cat is RAW, but barring that (you DO have to do a lot of research to get it right) CANNED is the next best. If you start a kitten on canned you are starting it out the best you are able. Best Canned food is Wellness or Natures Variety.



Cats are meat eaters and dry food (even Felidae and it is VERY good) has grains in it. Cats cannot utilize grain so it goes to waste and just makes them fat. Another reason for feeding canned is cats dont alway drink enough water and they NEED water for kidneys and to prevent FUS!



IF you must do dry, then felidae is as good as you are going to get. My Kotton is VERY finicky but she WILL eat Felidae! If only she would eat canned!
