Chat Week: Focus on Rescue

Monday, February 27-Saturday, March 5, 2005



As part of our Seventh Annual Chat Week lineup, we are featuring a number of chats and panel discussions on rescue-related topics. From our opening night panel discussion of "Rescue: Why We Do It, How We Cope," to our Thursday evening with Maddie's Fund president Richard Avanzino discussing the creation of a no-kill nation; from a hard-hitting discussion of stopping puppy mills on Monday to our Friday night rescue doubleheader with two chats, one on how to create and run a bird sanctuary and the other, a panel presentation on how to keep snakes and other reptiles out of rescue by better educating prospective owners of these pets, rescue themes are the highlight of this year's Chat Week. We hope that you'll join us, and also that you'll help spread the word to the online rescue community.
