Older cats have different nutritional needs than younger adult cats. Around age 8 or 9, they are usually switched to "Senior" diets, which in the natural food world, I don't know what the changes equate to. Senior diets are usually tailored around preserving kidney function, etc... Best to talk to your vet since she is "older".
