I took Paula and David shopping for some school clothes yesterday and can you believe it, Elizabeth, 'little' David now wears a size 12 shoe. He's about 5'10" tall now, compared to my 5'. He's going to be living with me for the school year so that he can go to the school in this neighborhood because the schools here are so much better. We have some of the finest schools in the state of Iowa. Both he and Paula get good grades and school is easy for them. I'm so proud of them.

Yes, Simba does like the males....and the females...and anybody who will pamper him. He's such an affectionate kitty. Problem with him though is that he a Samantha have the unresolved 'top cat' issue and so I have to keep them separated when I go to work in the morning. Otherwise, I'll come home from work with flying fur in the living room and bent whiskers on Samantha and Simba. They've each had a couple of swollen eyes too, from cat fights. So I make sure that before I leave the house, Simba goes down to the family room where he can sleep or play all day. Katrina often goes down there with him as those two get along like father and daughter.

It's funny how your husband's family has the names of David and Paul, just like my family. Paula got her name from my son, Paul, Pam's brother.

Yes, Lizzie is the cat who you said was always dressed for a party with her 'coat of many colors'. She is a beauty. And I'm glad that Annie Barncat came back and is now secure in your home. I remember how you worried so about her when she disappeared.

I agree with you on the Lou and Babba threads. They have to be some of the liveliest and funniest that I've ever seen. It was a lot of fun trying to outdo Lou in the photo editing department but he was always much better than me. He kept us all in stitches. It's always very lively when Lou is around.
