I am very sorry to hear about Shania. You did the right thing. Our heart and vet's advice help us to make the right decisions. Don't dwell on whether you did the right thing or not too long. Just cherish the time you had with her and feel good that you were able to make her last days loving. Also feel good you could open up your home up to another kitten. So many don't get the chance Shania did and now your new little boy. You are honoring her memory by providing another kitten a home.
