Posted by: crbovee at Tue Sep 19 06:57:39 2006 [ Report Abuse ] [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by crbovee ] About 10 weeks ago, Miko had a severe UTI and was at the vet hospital for 3 days because he wasn't eating and couldn't keep anything down. He has been on antibiotics since then (6 weeks on Baytril and 4 on Clavamox). Every two weeks he goes for a urinalysis and it shows he still has bacteria. Is this normal? I just worry about giving him antibiotics for so long. Has anyone else been in a situation like this? Miko will be a year old next month and he goes in for another check up tomorrow.
