They are 15 now and I just turned 40 -- I am not too worried that I won't be around for these two. I doubt Stanley will be with me more than another year with is currently under control medical problems. Who knows. I think I'd consider it if I get pets in my 50s or 60s that would likely still be with me in my late 70s or 80s. Most indoor cats live 15-18 years anymore.
