#1 - All presents go in the closet-not under the tree as Boris loves to open boxes. This week before the "sub-humnan" could put the box in the closet, he turned his back to put up the tape and Boris promptly tore into the wrapping paper and box. We now have a mixture of wrapping paper and a taped-up box.

#2 - I got a skirt this year as well. Boris loves to play with chestnut hulls from the nuts that we have roasted. He bats them under the skirt and then bulldozes his way under the skirt to find them. So far the skirt has been completely flipped around at least a dozen times, the velcro unfastened at least 5 times, and one lunge that almost toppled the tree when his head hit the stand. Thank goodness it is pretty heavy - 9' tree. I don't hink he could hurt his head.
