I re-read your post and see where you mentioned complete blood panel as well as thyroid focus... Good.

I would consider going at an opposite time of the day as you did last time and re-testing the blood if the antibiotics don't see to have cleared it up (white blood count). My geriatric vet tested two different times of the day (primarily for thyroid).
